Privacy policy

Who we are

The Knotty Sage Bracelet Maker is made in Australia by Stone & Sparks Pty Ltd. This policy covers the Knotty Sage app for iPhone and iPad, the web version at knottysage.com.au, and the app file for computers.

What stays on your device

• Your designs, colours, and how far you've knotted are saved on your device, so they're there next time. They are never sent to us.
• Whether you've unlocked the full version is also remembered on your device.
• If you delete the app, or clear your browser's data for this site, these are deleted too.

Purchases

• In the iPhone and iPad app, the full version is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment under Apple's privacy policy. We don't receive your name, email address or payment details. Apple gives us sales totals only.
• If you buy the app file for computers on Etsy, Etsy handles your payment under Etsy's privacy policy, and shares your order details with us as the seller. We use them only to help with your order.

This website

• The website is hosted by Netlify. Like most websites, Netlify keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, to run the site and keep it secure.
• The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address. See Google's privacy policy. The iPhone and iPad app has its fonts built in, so it doesn't do this.
• To see how many people visit, Netlify counts page views from those same server logs. Nothing is added to the page for this, it uses no cookies, and we only see totals, such as visits per day and which pages are popular.
• The website doesn't use cookies or ads, and the iPhone and iPad app has no analytics at all. Apple gives us download and sales totals for the app.

Feedback and questions

If you email us, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you, and we never share or sell them.

Children

Knotty Sage is made for crafters of all ages, including children with their parents. Because Knotty Sage collects no personal information, it collects none from children. If a child emails us, we use the email only to reply.
